The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off in Phoenix on Saturday, March 11, 2017.
A popular parade that celebrates the beloved holiday, as well as Irish culture and art, the Phoenix St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a can’t-miss local event here in the Valley.
This weekend’s festivities will come in two parts: the parade and the faire. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the corner of Sheridan and 3rd Street in Phoenix and will head south into downtown. The parade will feature several exciting performances, floats, marching bands, bag pipes, and of course, the beloved Irish dancers.
Right after the parade, attendees will be able to head over to the Irish Cultural Center, where they can see even more Irish dancing, while also enjoying Irish-themed food and beverages, touring the “1916 Commemorative Exhibition," finding out more about their genealogy, and finally, taking home a perfect souvenir.
