XTS Update from Glendale Cadillac Research
Cruising down the road may not be an official hobby, but it'll surely feel like one in the all-new 2016 Cadillac XTS in Glendale. After all, the full-size sedan redefines luxury with standard Magnetic Ride Control, a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and the CUE next-generation infotainment center. Add in the all-new surround vision safety system, wireless phone charging and enhanced grille designs and it's easy to see why 2016 Cadillac XTS reviews place this luxury sedan at the top of its class.
As the only luxury sedan with standard Magnetic Ride Control, the XTS delivers a comfortable ride you'll feel from the very first test drive. But, the world's fastest reacting suspension is just one of the many reasons for the smooth travel as the XTS also comes with rear air springs, Brembo brakes, a smooth six-speed transmission and a standard 3.6L V-6. Rated at 305 horsepower, the standard engine provides ample power for the road ahead. Of course, shoppers looking for even more muscle will be especially attracted to the Vsport Twin-Turbo engine rated at 410 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque
Checking out the cabin, the standard XTS delivers an upscale atmosphere with an eight-inch-diagonal multi-touch screen with CUE connectivity, Soleil Keisel leather seating surfaces, a safety alert seat, wireless charging and a Bose eight-speaker audio system. New this year, the CUE system now pairs easily with Apple smartphone messaging, music and map applications thanks to the all-new Apple CarPlay technology. That's not all the XTS has to offer, though; our 2016 Cadillac XTS review is especially impressed with the next-level Luxury collection. Settling just below the Premium trim, the high-end Luxury collection adds a heated steering wheel, automatic windshield wipers, LED accent lighting and heated seating.
The Twin-Turbo, available on the top-tier Premium and Platinum collection models, is just one of the many benefits of the top-tier XTS models. In fact, the Premium models also include adaptive forward lighting, a Bose Studio Surround Sound 14-speaker system, tri-zone automatic climate control, Head-up display technology and an available rear-seat entertainment system. Upgrade to the Platinum and you'll also add a chrome grille finish, 22-way power-adjustable massaging front seats and Opus full-leather seats.
With luxury that is apparent from first sight - especially now thanks to new grille designs - the 2016 Cadillac XTS in Glendale proves that driving truly can be a pastime built on the highest ideals of everyday driving.
