If you're in the market for a luxury sports car, you're sure to find the 2017 ATS to be a compelling option. On top of premium performance and dynamite driving dynamics, the ATS comes with impressive comforts and conveniences. For 2017, the trims have been renamed and their features shuffled around, giving buyers access to even more amenities. To learn more, please continue reading our 2017 Cadillac ATS review below.

A Variety of Models to Choose From

The 2017 Cadillac ATS in Glendale comes in both sedan and coupe body styles, as well as four distinctive trims: ATS, Luxury, Premium Luxury and Premium Performance. The trims vary slightly depending on the body style.

Entry-level features on the ATS sedan include everything from heated mirrors, power lumbar adjustment, leatherette upholstery and dual-zone automatic climate control to Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition/entry, a 10-speaker Bose sound system and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Additionally, an 8-inch CUE system is now standard equipment.

Even more luxury appointments are unlocked throughout the trim lineup, including integrated navigation and genuine leather upholstery with heated front seats (Luxury), adaptive xenon headlights and a sunroof (Premium Luxury), and Magnetic Ride Control adaptive dampers and a head-up display (Premium Performance).

Two Powertrain Options

Standard, the 2017 Cadillac ATS packs a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, generating 272 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. An eight speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive are standard, however, buyers can opt for a six-speed manual (RWD only) or all-wheel drive should they need it.

The ATS can also be had with a more powerful 3.6-liter V6, which Edmunds' 2017 Cadillac ATS reviews says turns the luxury sport sedan into "a little hot rod." The V6 is rated at 335 hp and 285 lb.-ft. of torque, and the eight-speed automatic delivers power to either a rear-wheel or all-wheel drive system.
